	Meet Cruise Masters of Minnesota Meet the owner: Evi Thompson, ACC; MCC; ECC; Elite Cruise Counselor *Evi has sailed on over 50 cruises worldwide* including Princess, Holland America, Carnival, Cunard, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Regent Seven Seas, Cruise West, Delta Queen Steamboat Co., Viking River Cruises, Windjammer Barefoot Cruises, Mekong Pandaw, Nile Royal Lotus , Volga Konstantin Korotkov and in addition, has "inspected" over 75 ships as they were in port. She knows the ships, the type of passengers that would be happy on each ship and most important, how to match our clients to a particular ship and cruise line. She truly believes there is the right ship and cruise vacation for everyone! Most agencies sell cruises like they would hotel or airline tickets. Evi believes that cruising is more complex than that and requires an agent that knows the industry and is familiar with all cruise lines and their ships. The title cruise specialist is a self-given title that means very little. The only way you can be sure that the person serving you is a cruise expert, is to make sure that they are "CLIA" (Cruise Lines International Association) credited, by either the "entry-level" designation of "ACC" (Accredited Cruise Counselor), the advanced level of "MCC" (Master Cruise Counselor), or its highest designation that currently only 250 Cruise Counselors hold worldwide "ECC" (Elite Cruise Counselor). Meet the other owner (Evi’s husband) Jeff Thompson Jeff has made United Parcel Service his career for over 35 years. During his vacations from UPS he escorts groups together with Evi and is responsible for luggage and transfer logistics. He has been on as many cruises as Evi and knows his way around the world and just about any airport worldwide. He is also a heck of a nice guy to travel with. Meet Dawn Turner, ACC Dawn is an Accredited Cruise Counselor and has been in the travel industry for over 20 years. She has lived abroad in Germany with many travel adventures across Europe. If skiing get-a-ways are in your plans, Dawn is an avid skier and knows what it takes to make the ski package complete! She has also escorted cruise groups worldwide and has traveled extensively across the United States. Dawn enjoys seeing someplace new every time she travels; there is a world of exciting destinations and she wants to see them all! Meet Jean Patnode Administrative Assistant Jean has nearly two decades experience in the travel industry. She Is Evi and Dawn’s right hand “wo-man”. Whatever needs to be done – she takes care of it. Jean spent her early travel career as an agent and is committed to going overboard and doing whatever it takes to ensure your vacation is outstanding and memorable. When she travels, Jean loves to cruise the Caribbean with her husband, Charlie.
